Hello! I'm a seasoned Product Manager and former software engineer with a robust background in AI and Blockchain technology. Born and raised in Gujarat, India, and educated in Bangalore, I now call Los Angeles, California, my home.
From a young age, technology fascinated me. The first time I interacted with a computer, I was drawn not just to playing games but to understanding the underlying programs. This curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Computer Applications. My career began in database engineering, where I quickly transitioned to full-stack development, working alongside talented mentors who shaped my understanding and passion for technology.
Recognizing a gap in the software industry's ability to deliver high-quality products due to a lack of sophisticated test automation, I shifted my focus towards Quality Assurance. I developed comprehensive test automation frameworks and transformed the QA process by training engineers to transition from manual testing to Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles.
My journey continued as I pursued an MBA from the Gies School of Business at the University of Illinois, specializing in Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship. This experience ignited my interest in Product Management, combining my technical expertise with strategic business skills to develop products that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
I approach problem-solving by thinking from the customer's perspective—understanding their needs, breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks, and choosing scalable technologies. My goal is to reduce friction and enhance user intuition in every product I develop.
I am particularly proud of my work at Altruist, where I proposed and implemented a Fee Billing Routing Engine using Kafka and microservices, significantly enhancing revenue and operational efficiency. At Amazon, I pioneered an emulator for Alexa automotive, enabling developers to test and scale their solutions effectively.
I am committed to lifelong learning, leveraging platforms like Coursera for broad learning and specialized resources for deep dives into Product Management, AI, and Blockchain. I'm fortunate to have mentors across the industry, including notable figures at major tech companies, who inspire and guide me.
My long-term goals are to solve real-world problems using technology, ensuring equitable access to resources for all. I aim to leave a legacy through impactful products and the professional growth of the teams I lead.
Outside of work, I rebuild motorcycles—a hobby that helps me understand mechanics and satisfies my curiosity. I'm also a passionate foodie, exploring different cuisines to connect with various cultures.
